Development of the Main Scheme (Master Plan) for the Wastewater Disposal and Treatment System of Tashir City, Lori Region, Republic of Armenia
Project Details
Within the scope of the project were performed the following activities:
- Collection and analysis of existing data;
- Field investigations and instrumental surveys;
- Hydraulic modelling and engineering calculations, taking into account urban development projections;
- Preparation of recommendations for improving the municipal wastewater collection and removal system;
- Identification and assessment of wastewater treatment technology options (conventional, nature-based, and hybrid), including technical and economic analysis;
- Development, presentation, discussion, and agreement with the Client and the Municipality of the preferred solution, consisting of a 47,5 lm municipal wastewater pipeline network with pipe diameters ranging from 200 mm to 500 mm, and a hybrid wastewater treatment plant with a treatment capacity of 2,710 m³/day;
- Development of recommendations for the phased implementation of the proposed system;
- Preparation of the Strategic Environmental Assessment (SEA) for the project.
